Scholarships and Bursaries

CMAW offers an Incentive Bursary in the amount of $500 to qualifying apprentices. Please contact your Local Union to see whether you are entitled to apply for the Bursary.

David G. Flynn Memorial Bursary Application Form 

Construction, Maintenance and Allied Workers Bargaining Council (CMAW) has dedicated an Annual Bursary Program to honour the memory of Dave Flynn. The bursaries of $500.00 each, will be awarded to six successful candidates each year (one for each district area).

Government of Canada Apprenticeship Incentive Programs

Effective January 1, 2007, apprentices completing their first or second level of a Red Seal apprenticeship program are eligible for a $1,000 Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG). Please note that only those apprentices demonstrating progression on or after January 1, 2007 will be considered eligible.
